Designer - Charles & Ray Eames 1950

Charles and Ray Eames presented the designs of the Plastic Chair Group at the "Low Cost Furniture Design" competition held by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. In 1950, they were the first industrial manufactured plastic chairs to be brought to market. The organically moulded shells offer a high level of comfort. The fabric cover colours and the seat shells can mixed and matched with each other.
